4.0 - 30.0 MHz |
5 kW CW/10 kW PEP |
17 element rotatable log periodic. The Model LP-1112-MR is a lightweight,
transportable and rotatable log periodic antenna system covering
the range of 4 through 30 MHz. It is designed for temporary or permanent
installation with minimum deployment time. This unique antenna is
of extremely small size, considering its broad frequency coverage.
The antenna dimensions are only 96 x 62 feet (29.3 x 18.89 meters)
with a tower height of 60 feet (18.3 meters). The net weight of the
system, uncrated, is 2000 lbs. Rotation is accomplished through the
use of a mechanical stop and halyard device, eliminating the necessity
for electric power of any kind, during the system erection and operation.
Installation and erection can be performed by a crew of 6 men in
less than 4 hours. All installation tools and fixtures are included
in the antenna kit. |

5985-00-097-8802
|
30.0 - 76.0 MHz |
75 W CW/150 W PEP |
7 element tactical, transportable VHF antenna.
The Model LP-1402 is a manpack, transportable antenna designed for
VHF, tactical communications in the field. Its versatility and practical
design is surpassed only by its rugged reliability. Supplied complete
in a backpack. When erected, this system may be used for vertical
or horizontal polarization at heights of 20 feet (6 meters). In addition
to its excellent electrical communications performance, human engineering
factors have been emphasized in the design to provide an easily erectable,
foolproof antenna system. Erection of it can be accomplished by 2
men in less than 10 minutes. The top mast section is made of fiberglass
to enhance antenna operation in the vertical mode. Polarization can
be easily switched without lowering the antenna. |

5985-01-441-
5478 |
30.0 - 88.0 MHz |
65 W CW/130 W PEP |
9 element tactical, transportable VHF antenna. With the exception
of the expanded operating banc, the Model LP-1403 is similar in construction
and application to that of the Model LP-1402 listed above. |
| 1910 |
2.0 - 30.0 MHz |
200 W CW/400 W PEP |
The Model 1910 is a rugged, lightweight, manpack,
tactical dipole antenna system that can be erected by 2 people in
less than 15 minutes. This system provides reliable short and medium
range sky wave communications in virtually all types of terrain.
This broadband, terminated, center-fed dipole antenna requires no
tuning across the entire bandwidth and so the need for antenna adjustment
or an antenna tuner, is eliminated. |
Loop antenna
(Description: PDF 237KB) |
Frequency range 2-32MHz |
Receive only |
Our basic antenna is an untuned, balanced loop which has dimensions
that are small compared with the wavelength. A preamplifier circuit,
fitted at the base of the
antenna, exactly complements the loop characteristics. This combination
results in a nominally constant, effective, height over the 2.0 to
32.0 MHz frequency range. The
aperiodic loop antenna configuration includes loop/preamplifier elements,
in an "end fire" array, with an interconnecting transmission
line coupling each element. The
element spacing has been carefully chosen to provide optimum directional
characteristics for both long and short haul, point-to-point HF communication
using the
ionosphere. Outputs are available at both ends so the array can look
both ways simultaneously, if required, or can be rapidly switched
through 180° with a coaxial relay. |

| 3002-FA |
Dual Tower System |
|
The Model T-3002-FA tower system has been specifically
designed to provide maximum support for large log periodic antennas.
The system includes 2 each 80 foot (24.38 meters), hot-dipped, galvanized
steel, knock down towers, the rotator Model R3503 with a DRC control
unit, a 100 foot (30.5 meters) rotating mast, a base mounted rotary
joint, a 1-5/8" (35 mm) pressurized feed line and all necessary guys
and anchors. The rotator and all electrical and electronic components
are located at ground level providing easy maintenance access. The
heavy duty Model R3503 rotator is supported at the base of the tower
with a pivoting yoke system which places the vertical load support
at the tower base rather than on the tower itself. |
| 3501-GA
5820-00-437-9865
|
Rotator |
|
The Model R-3501-GA universal rotator system is designed for medium
duty antenna rotation applications where economy, versatility and
reliability are emphasized. It will mount on any tower of sufficient
face width with the minimum of adaptation required or it may be mounted
on the side or on top of towers, poles or other support structures. |
| 3502-GA |
Rotator |
|
The Model R-3501-GA is a universal, heavy duty
rotator system designed to rotate antennas requiring a high starting,
breaking, torque, but representing medium vertical loads. It is readily
adaptable to any tower of sufficient face width with a minimum of
structural adaptation. The main output shaft will concentrically
accommodate coaxial transmission lines of up to 1-5/8" (41 mm) in
diameter. The system is supplied complete with rotator pedestal,
adapter angles, rotator control unit and rotary joint. |
| 3503-FA |
Rotator |
|
The Model R-3503-FA rotator system is designed for heavy duty applications
where medium to high rotating/breaking torques and high vertical
loads are imposed. Provided with a 2 point trunnion fixture, this
rotator may be easily adapted to most applications. The output shaft
is a 12 bold flange mount casting. The rotator drive shaft will concentrically
accommodate coaxial transmission lines up to 6-1/8" (15.5 mm) diameter
with provisions for rotary joints at the base. These are available
as optional accessories. The system is supplied complete with rotator
pedestal and azimuth/indicator control unit. |

THIS ITEM IS OBSOLETE, BUT WE SUPPORT REPAIRS |
Rotator Control Unit |
|
The Model 3512 (also identified as the DRC-2)
rotator control unit is designed to provide both manual and computer
remote control for US Antenna Products rotators. In the computer
control mode the DRC-2 acts as an interface allowing a computer to
control the azimuth of the antenna. It can receive commands from
the computer and either of the RS-232 or RS-422 formats. The message
between the computer and DRC-2 consists of serial asynchronous data.
In the manual control mode the desired azimuth of the antenna is
selected by turning the manual control knob; after a 5 second delay,
the rotator is activated and the antenna rotates until it reaches
the selected azimuth. The antenna's direction is shown on the antenna's
direction display. Interconnection between the rotator control unit
and the rotator power assembly may be accomplished by using a 2 conductor
cable or standard data grade telephone leased lines. The antenna
may also be rotated from the tower base using the local controls
provided in the rotator power assembly. |
3514
DRC-3 |
DIGITAL ROTATOR CONTROLLER |
|
A completely new design of DRC that allows you to control your 3501 or 3503 rotator from anywhere you have an internet connection.
The new system incorporates a DC drive motor and ramping feature that reduces wear on the rotator and allows for faster rotation of the antenna.
The system is field upgradeable with existing 3501 and 3503 rotators so you are able to update the controls without changing the entire rotator. |
